PALM BEACH RUG COLOR CORRECTION

What is a rug without its colors? Not much, as we're sure most will tell you. While there are a few amazing antique and wool rugs out there styled predominantly in white, colors are most often what makes a carpet and are frequently the biggest reason behind a purchase. Needless to say, having these colors gradually fade away before reaching a point where they're nothing like their previous self is painful to watch.

Lots of rug owners feel that there's simply no way that their precious rug's colors will be restored to their original state due to how complex the coloring patterns are – we'd like the opportunity to prove each of these rug owners wrong through our hard work.

Knowing what a rug looked like is half of the color correction process. Therefore, much of our initial effort will revolve around finding out exactly what the rug's colors used to be – if possible, we'll ask to see close-up pictures of the rug in order to get a good glimpse into its coloring scheme. If not, we'll settle for the next best thing: showing you a wide palette of colors and letting you pick and choose each individual hue based on the carpet's original appearance. Only when we have a great idea of what the rug is meant to look like will we begin with the actual correction.

As for the types of corrections we perform, they're too numerous for a single page. Requests to fix colors that have faded due to sunlight are among those we get most often – this usually happens when rug owners leave their floor covering out to dry without understanding the effect that the Sun could have on their prized possession.

Discoloration due to spills or liquid is another common issue that rug owners face and one that we frequently deal with – while less time-consuming due to a smaller area of effect, these cases are among the most challenging as we'll need to apply just the right amount of color so that the affected spot doesn't deviate from the rest of the carpet in any way. Traffic and age-related discoloration aren't uncommon either – we'll have no trouble tampering with your carpet's odometer and reducing its mileage no matter its materials or dyes. While quite a few carpet cleaners out there provide color correction services, many of them will simply introduce another form of discoloration with their work, albeit one that is slightly less visible.

This isn't how we do things – instead, our correction services are meant to perfectly restore a rug's original colors and eliminate any trace of work being done on the rug. We'll settle for nothing but the most accurate dyes – if we don't have them on hand, we'll go out of our way to acquire them instead of making use of what we have. We feel that every rug is its own work of art and we'd hate to tamper with that – therefore, restoring the carpet's initial appearance is always our main and only goal no matter the conditions we're working with.
